Pops and bangs no longer work

Pops and bangs no longer work
2013 Mini Cooper s 191,000 miles
Over the summer my lpfp went bad and the car sat for a month and the battery and had been drained which then I’m return killed the frm. The only thing I can’t figure out is why the pops and bangs in sport mode don not work at all anymore. The car does recognize that I’m in sport mode. The only mods I’ve done is a cat less exhaust but before they still worked and used sport mode daily. I do have a code for the o2 sensor after the cat. But I believe I have had that and I’ve had the pre cat sensor fail and sport mode worked fine still. Any insight?
