Climate control fan only works at lowest speed
Climate control fan only works at lowest speed
Hey there,
I've got a 2013 MCS with the automatic climate control system. Recently it's only been blowing at the lowest fan setting, I can turn it up through the climate control just fine but the fan never speeds up.
I followed
to check the voltage being sent to the blower motor resistor. I have the same behavior where it reads ~0.5v when off, and ~3v on the lowest setting. In their video, at max fan setting it goes up to 10v, but mine never goes past the 3v mark. So it seems like there's a problem with the signal being sent to the resistor.
Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can do further up the line, or is my only option here to replace the whole climate control unit?

Update for anyone else who may come across this thread, I bought a new IKHA module and it didn't fix it. Turns out I'm pretty sure it's because my battery is on its way out; charging it seemed to fix the issue so far
