No Fan at high temp
No Fan at high temp
My mini people. Did some searching, found tons of ideas, nothing really matching my problem. Car smelled hot when I got out the other day. Today I hooked up my scan tool and watched the temp and fans. Made it all the way to 220 F before I shut it off, no fans. Just for giggles I put the a.c. on and the fan kicked on. Switched the two relays in the engine compartment, no joy. I'm leaning toward bad fan, but why did it come on with ac? Help!! 2010 Cooper s Camden edition.
These will run around 220 to 222. Fan will kick on at 230. I have had my clubman for almost a year and that is a pretty normal temp. Cruising on highway it stays between 215 to 218, around town 218 to 220.
And you can get the fan to kick on full blast coldest setting AC, car will run down around 180 and it will also cool your oil temps.
