R53 with sport suspension - front sway bar diameter?

2004 R53. Will be dropping the front subframe in order to replace a leaking rear main seal. Will take this opportunity to replace the sway bar bushings. This is a 2004 R53 with sport suspension. Is the diameter 22.5 or 24 mm? Also, is it advisable to replace the steering rack bushings and if so, any difficulties likely to be encountered?

Yes it should be 24mm

and make sure you're doing the control arm bushings

We also always do the rack bushing when we have the subframe out as it takes 5min

If you want to go big it's the ideal time while the trans is out to do a Quaife LSD as that will get all your power to the ground and save you a bunch of labor later
