Help need mini 2007
Rebuilt my 2007 R56 mini cooper engine. The mecanics who did it didn’t really know how to work a mini. So because of all this, it took near 2 years to rebuilt the engine and the guy putu it on and out many time. But now its ok, and the car have been sent to another garage because the engine dont want to accelerate on start. We change everything, fuel pump, intake, gaz pedal, computer !! The dam thing is starting with difficulty and stay on idle without any reaction when we press the gaz pedal. Any ideas of cant be wrong? Its surelly not a mecanical issue! But electrical one. I am just about to tear the car apart and sold the engine only, totally depress

CEL = Check Engine Light.
With no CEL and no codes, chances are the electrical system is OK. Maybe ensure the ground wire in the front center of the valve cover is connected and secure.
After rebuild, it's common for the timing to slip a little bit --- chain wasn't tightened correctly, or it was kinked. Pretty easy to recheck it. Take a look at step #28 in this newTIS procedure, https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/r...aft/1VnY7d2Xnh just gotta pull the valve cover and use the timing special tools.
After two years of just sitting, you might have a partially clogged fuel filter, especially on an '07 --- it's already pretty old.

here are few things I would do:
1- remove the valve cover and check the timing, AGAIN.
2- verify the gas paddle is connected.
3- verify the throttle body is connected.
4- use live data to see reaction to gas paddle.
you mentioned you replaced the computer. which computer was that?
where are you located?
