Changed Clutch - Multiple issues...HELP

This looks to be the second family Mini I have rendered useless.

I changed the clutch assemblyand some suspension and associated component's (control arms, control arm bushing and passenger side driveshaft)on my daughter's 2012 Clubman(Non-turbo).

On my first test drive the car started up. I backed out of the driveway and the, about 100 yards down the road, I shifted into 2nd and the car shut down.

Pushed back into the driveway ran a Foxwell scanner which revealed a host of codes (AOB3- CAS Starter motor terminal 50; , D367,366,D365/not present - all said DME/DDE receiver DSC/Transmitter - DMT-DDE; JPAA/not present- Hydraulic unit supply pump motor; F23/not present; D113/not present - drive train data;A3AD/not present; A54b - Electric power steering. - and more.

I realized in seeing D113 that I forgot to connect the wire that goes to the tranny - at the top, near the shifter cable to tranny connectors. I was then hoping that when I shifted into second, and it shut down, that this was the cause. No such luck.

The car cranks but does not start. PARTICULARLY ODD IS THAT I CAN'T ACCESS THE OBD CODES - I TRIED IT WITH THE FOXWELL AND WITH MY OBD ONLY SCANNER - BOTH SAY THEY COULD NOT ESTABLISH A CONNECTION WITH THE CAR - YET FOXWELL CONNECTS AND SCANS BUT NOT OBD????

No idea what to look at next. Hoping someone can decipher this set of info more capably than I can. Much appreciated - Harvey in Northern California

If I can't figure this out I may have to break down and take it to a mechanic - UGH - hopefully this can be avoided.

HaHa - Problem solved. Stumbled upon the resolution. Ground connection from main fuse panel in engine compartment was not tight. Very relieved!!!!!
