6/12v tester

Anyone know of an inexpensive 6/12v power tester that can be used to power and trigger hardware such as actuators/solenoids, lights, etc.
something that outputs power to said device so that it can be tested.
i dont know what they call them other than a tester, but its not a normal multimeter, it outputs voltage to test if something is working.

If you find one, be very careful where you use it. Most of the Mini electronic devices that need testing work on digital logic voltages, not battery voltage. Testing with the wrong voltage could easily destroy them.

Thank you sir! That is what i was afraid of.
i need one anyways have for a long time but i wont be jacking around on the mini with it outside of bulbs
i cleaned one of two VVT solenoids but wanted to test the actuation of them with a tester
Guess i will spend the $36/ea on the aftermarket brand solenoid and see if it helps my crazy idle issue
i cleaned the intake side but it didn't help.
the exhaust side is friggin Tori bit bolts and they ar soft probably the softest bolt i have sent for ages, and one size too small warped the toro teeth and the size that fits in the intake side doesnt fit the exhaust side so i am going to try and see if a flat head screwdriver will fit enough i can unthread it and clean the solenoid.
