Am I missing pin sockets on my ECU connectors? 2002 Mini Cooper S

Hello fellow NAM's!

I was looking at my Engine Wiring Harness today, and noticed that some of the sockets on my Engine Wiring Harnesses are missing. Are these intentional from the factory, or did some of my metal female pin sockets fall out?

It is very common throughout the car for pin positions to be unoccupied. If you're concerned that a pin socket fell out, you can check for a wire coming out the other side. To get a better look, the surrounding casing can be separated from the actual connector blocks. You'll need to figure out the little latches and hooks that unclip and disassemble the pieces.
