Over the past week have had a "burning clutch" smell in and on the outside of car under normal driving situations (40K on car and been driving stick for almost 40 yrs and never have blown a clutch). (no smell for past two days, but wife drove car and commented on the smell.) I will be taking the car in for service next week and have the "Extended maintance" plan that is suppost to cover "wear items " such as brake pads, rotors, clutch disks, Any advise?
