Columbus Ohio indy's?

Not exactly tech, but...
For the future -- Any recommendations for an independent Mini mechanic in the Columbus, Ohio area?

Recently moved from CO to Columbus, OH -- I was out of town when our 2013 MCS threw a CEL and needed a thermostat housing --$700 at the dealership (that's after waiving the $159 diagnostic fee...) --Ouch!!! $472 in labor -- how long could it really take?!

Anyway -- while I'd like to do the work myself, I'm not always available when the car breaks...
Any recommendations for a Mini mechanic in the future? I can't imagine an indy would've charged that much to change the thermostat housing...

My go to is North End Wrench on Indianola. They are awesome.

My R60 is currently at Acceleration Import Specialists somewhat nearby that off High St....recommended to me by Mark at North End Wrench since they were booked a little too far out. It is still there so I cannot speak to the quality of work just yet, but they have been incredibly nice and a pleasure to work with so far. I do know they are about $500+ for a thermostat though....$168 for the part, and then a few hours labor. I would expect that anywhere....cheaper compared to a dealer. A thermostat, water pump, and crossover tube will run you around $1200, ~$500 of that being parts.

MAG is a big fancy dealership who is always helpful when you absolutely need it...they are just kind of far away unless you are on the N-NE side.

Thanks!
MAG is a little too far north both geographically AND financially... Our mini will ONLY go there if we're desperate... we're not desperate!
This morning was our last chance for them and...
The $150.00 just to read the cel code for my wife this morning was a bit much... that and they didn't actually have anybody available to look at her car when she got there so why make the 9:30am apt in the first place?
