all of a sudden today the car is giving me a rough and jerky acceleration, basically jolting while trying to accelerate. At idle, it will slowly climb to 1500 rpm and then drop to normal. All of my plastic tubes appear to be connected and no CEL.

 

it sounds like a misfire. check the plugs and plugs gaps.

 

Actually my scanner was showing a pending code for an idle air circuit fault. And one for lean bankremains. MAF??

 

So p0171 is the only permanent code n. Why would the other one not show up now?
