Thermostat housing with sensor,
Hello,

I am new to mini Coopers I the proud owner if a 2008 R55 Clubman and I recently discovered an antifreeze leak and had a local shop replaced it. The replacement part was bought from oreilly's auto parts, before the replacement the check engine never showed up. After the replacement of the oreilly's auto parts after market part the check engine pops up with temp sensor issues. Has anybody experience this? Need help........

did the shop forget to connect the plugs?

can they reuse the old temp sensor on the new housing to see if that fixes the issue?

The old housing with sensor was thrown away. And they did connect all of the plugs back.

Can you have that local shop retrieve the code(s) to see what threw the CEL?
