Oil leak R58
ok did a search and found nothing. Anyone heard of there being a problem with the oil filter adapter at the block leaking. When I had the oil changed they told me this was a common problem. I just purchased a 2013 r58. And the Mini dealership hadn’t changed the oil so I took it to my local mechanic, dealer is 125 miles away.

I have not personally had this problem, but have seen others on here talking about the same issue and needing to replace the gasket. ECS Tuning has it, here. They may have other ones as well, but it is the first that came up when I looked. So, it is not necessarily a common problem, but can be a problem and does happen.
