radiator smoke
radiator smoke
It's so raining in Socal now. I noticed that there was white steam smoke coming out of hood scoop. I thought since it's raining so bad, water comes into the engine bay and causes steam..
I checked the coolant temperature with obd live bluetooth scanner and it looked fine. it was around 95ish. while idling, i turned heater on and it started smoke from radiator but coolant temperature was normal though.. I don't know what's going on. I recorded video of smoke from radiator..

Heck your coolant levels. Does it stop after a while when it warms up? If it never stops I would look for a leak especially if you see fluctuations in your temp. Radiators get hot so it may just be moisture that accumulated overnight from humidity in the air or the warm radiator condensing humidity out of the air.
