squeeky window when going up?

squeeky window when going up?

I recently noticed my window makes lots of noise going up or down (driver side) when its wet out, it never did this before, any ideas? am at 104K miles. It is tinted so interior side plastic film

I have actually waxed the window glass and that stopped my squeaky window

I will give it a try tomorrow, thanks for the idea, I dont see why it wouldn't work as a lubricant to whatever mechanism moves it.

All my Minis have had squeaky windows as described. I would wash between the glass and the gasket(?) along the door-window interface with a narrow brush or a credit card and rag. This would help but eventually they'd be noisy again. I'll have to try the wax method. Hope hope.
