While trying to fix my MINI's stereo, I discovered the rear carpet is socked wet!
I had the same problem in the past but with the front carpets (driver & passenger). Back then I had a professional take the carpet off, dry it, Dynamating the floor and then placing the carpet back + replacing the rubber.
Any one had this issue (from search results I noticed there are some threads about water leaking but each case is different.
Any advice?
Instead of taking off the whole carpet, I thought of cutting it near the back of the front seats - thus taking it off only at the back (not problem to take it off from the back).
I would appreciate any suggestions.

 

If you have sunroof then it may be your drain tubes locate in each corner, you will have to test its easy and you can find how tos in youtube

Good to know
I found it was the door rubber seals. I had to make sure they sit perfectly otherwise the water will slide in.
I thought of putting some RTV Silicone.
