Got the sub-frame completely out today and removed the control arms only to find a total hack had been in there before. Driver's side inner ball joint had a smaller than normal bolt in the front hole with a nut on the bottom because someone galled up the threads in the past. Took me about 45 minutes to get the threads properly repaired with the appropriate tap. All is good now but I don't have the proper bolt to go back in there now. Is this an item I need to get at the Dealer or should I just go to the bolt store in town and get a grade 8 metric bolt with a good washer?
