This one is made specifically for Mini

I know shipping time is bad but it will save you a lot of money and labor.

Shipping to Greece is ALWAYS risky. We have seen stuff sit in customs or held for random reasons for as many as 5-7 weeks. There must be a flaw in the postal system in Greece.

Are there any salvage yards where you live that might have an R53 like yours that you might be able to get a valve (or complete housing) off?
As to quality of a 'used' drain back valve, it's either broken or not; there's no gray area. Might be worth a try.

Tried and found one, but it had a different housing, i guess it was one with no extra valve.
Will try again tomorrow, got a friend who had 2 Mini S sitting , else i gotta buy the whole housing...

If the housing is part number 11427562250 (complete housing with cooler), it should work with your car.

And you are unable to order a replacement drain-back valve (Dorman part number 904-261) from anywhere in Greece? It's about a $10 (US) part.

No, i cant find anywhere near greece that valve, Dorman.
Anyways i ordered that part 1142756225 as you said for 200euros new. Will have it by monday i guess.
I was wondering, can debris from a broken valve pass inside the engine and cause harm?

anyone aware of this can be removed and replaced while the oil filter is installed ie: remove filter, pull old plunger, replace with new, install filter, etc etc)?
