How many miles on that oil. It looks awfully dark if it’s only 450.

only 450-500 miles... a week and a half of driving.. What would cause it to darken prematurely?

lit would darken some. It just seems really dark. It may just be the hard to tell from the photo. Letting it set overnight will tell if there is water in it. Oil darkens from combustion products. If you have a high mileage engine you could have more blow by past the rings.

Looks fine to me as far as coolant contamination goes.

UPDATE
This solved my issue.. No more coolant leak.. No more moisture on my oil cap or dip stick. Been 6-8 weeks now.. no issues.
This company told me not to use the whole bottle since the Mini has a small coolant system.. I poured 3/4 of the bottle in.. Follow the direction if yo decide to go this route.

Blue Devil

Hi. I’m having similar issues with my 03 Mini Cooper S.
Did you pour the Blue Devil directly into the coolant reservoir tank? How is your car holding up since you posted about this issue?
thanks
