EVAP DTC's a little help please

Hi everyone, this is my first post and hoping for some help. My name tells you what I drive and I have 4 codes the set every other drive cycle as they are 2 trip codes. The codes are P2400, P2401, P2418 and P2419. I'm thinking these are related to the leak detection pump and the purge control solenoid malfunctioning. In Mini speak the codes are 271B, 272A, 272E, 2728, and 272C. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lydia

Well, the 2418 and 2419 codes are very specific; 2418 is an open circuit (DMTL solenoid), and 2419 is a short to ground (DMTL solenoid). The valve is mounted to the activated carbon canister. The canister is on the left side of the car underneath the rear bumper.

Keep in mind that faults reported against the valve could be caused by damaged wires in this circuit. I'd replace the solenoid valve and clear the codes. That should clear all codes. Make sure you have your VIN when ordering. PN I see is: 16137193479.

Thanks with another question

Thank you for your reply. I'll order one and try that hopefully it will solve the problems if not at least half of them. Would the other DTC's the 2400 and 2401 relate to the leak detection pump also mounted to the canister or since they are both mounted to the canister I may have a harness issue. Lost my job and funds are tight I don't want to just throw money I don't really have at parts. Thanks again for your time and reply.

???. The 2400 and 2401 are event faults for the system; the 2418 and 2419 codes are component faults. This fault isn't that serious as it's the system that pulls fuel vapors out of the gas tank (thermal expansion and vaporization) and then burns them. If you're hurting for funds, it can wait.

THANK YOU! I appreciate you breaking it down into understandable language. There seems to be quite a range of pricing for the canister vent solenoid, also the appearance of the valves listed for the application. Thanks again! Lydia

Well let's see, I just put in my brand new o.e. DTML solenoid that sits under the intake manifold switching the tank vapor hose to the intake. Started the car twice since this is two trip detection code and the light returned. Attached to the charcoal canister is the leak detection pump (LDP) and my canister is on the right side, just inboard of my right rear tire. I'm still looking for help help on DTC's P2418 and P2419.

Hey Guys
I have an R57 convertible. I have a P2418 check engine light, the scanner also shows 321B fault code "DMTL magnet valve activation line break". So far I have replaced the DMTL pump and the fuel tank breather valve/purge valve under the intake. Check engine light is still on.
Any ideas where to go next?
Thanks
