Vibration after strut install

Has anyone had a highway vibration on acceleration appear after a shock install job? I notice a slight vibration when accelerating on the highway. My r52 is riding higher than it used to (blown shocks). Is this a cv joint wear issue? Any fixes? Ive torque checked all bolts that removed for the install.

Sounds like a CV issue

check that your strut pinch bolts are tight

I did torque them to spec. Should I go over a bit? Speaking from experience? Can you elaborate?

Just me but a blown strut/shock is not going to make the car sit lower as the stance is a function of the spring. On the vibration the question I have is whether with a new strut/shock what was not noticeable with a bad unit, and yes I recently changed mine and at 50K they were shot, the new strut is transferring the vibration through?

On the pinch bolt, if you torqued it the specified value the unit should not be sliding within the hub assembly.

Maybe a wheel balance issue? Rotate fronts to rear and see if the vibration follows.
