Removing logo safely 2006 R 50
Hi
Just want to know if anyone has had to remove the Cooper logo on the back hatch.
I had my car repainted and the person put the cooper logo on the back crooked !!! :(
This was on February 20. Car was in storage...( drove it once a week) winter
The shop said they would take care of it..and now they are out of business.
I've seen several things on the web...like pouring HOT water to loosen the adhesive to using a hair dryer , to adhesive remover spray which is toxic to the paint with dental floss to " saw" off the logo.
Any and all help is much appreciated
Thank you

Try some WD-40 and fish line. Be sure to clean/brush the area first in attempt to get as much dirt that may be stuck to the adhesive removed. Then soften up the adhesive with the WD-40, it will not hurt the paint, and then use the fish line like dental floss to cut the adhesive. Need some stout fishline as something like 8 lb test will most likely break.
