2005 Mini EML/Service Light on
My mini recently stop accelerating past 30mph my service light and EML light it on it’s a automatic/manual transmission won’t Switch gears stays with EP on display. Please Help. Perfectly fine last night

Check to make sure your battery is putting out 14.0 to 14.2 volts, as low battery will mess up trans controller. You might try replacing battery, if it is low (under 13.5 volts).
It may need the trans to be put into adaptation mode, to get it working again.

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues area.
Would think you are in "limp" mode so there will be a code associated with the EML light. For us to do anything more, stop by an autoparts store and ask if they have an OBD2 reader. Many will read the codes for free.
