I have an '04 R53 that has been making a loud screeching sound at cold start-up no matter the outside temp that changes with engine RPM and stops suddenly when water temp hits 100 degrees. The car has 160000 miles and I'm wanting (but not much) to put the car up for sale to get a truck but want to make sure I solve this problem before handing it off to someone else. I don't know if the waterpump has ever been replaced or the supercharger has ever been serviced.
