Bad Bcm

Bought a Used 2003 R53 in November of last year. Starting to uncover some hidden issues from the previous owner. Love the car and the mpg compared to my truck but it may not have been the wisest purchase. It only has 82k miles on it but it has had a rough life.

Took off the black cover for my Bcm today. Had suspicions it got fried when after a heavy rain my windows would move an inch at a time, wipers wont park correctly, headlights wont auto adjust unless I hit the in car circulation etc. found two pieces on the circuit board that were burnt. got into headliner and both rubber tubes had fallen off, so I got some hose clamps and secured them on now. Just wondering if it is possible to replace with a used bcm. Can't find much info online and a local bmw dealership says it will have to be a new one from Mini. Plan on removing and drying out the carpet early next week.

Also if there is another area I need to look that may be causing some of these issues, the help would be very much appreciated,

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues area. Should get better views there.
