New- low boost

Hello. Just bought an 05 mini cooper s 6 speed. Im getting code P1498 and an EML light. There's a boost gauge installed already and I'm,only getting 5lbs boost/ 10 vacuum. I'm thinking I have a leak somewhere? I read that the pipe from supercharger to TB could be the issue?

All the help I get is greatly appreciated. Thank you

Check to make sure all the clamps are tight from the air cleaner to the throttle body and then check the boots on each side of the intercooler/

Car has an Alta intake installed. Is that what I'm hearing every time I touch the gas pedal or is that noise a leak somewhere? Its pretty loud

My '05 had the same symptoms, EML + P1498. I fixed it by replacing the MAP sensor and its vacuum line, but it could be coming from a variety of places such as the green supercharger gasket. Also, smoke test is never bad idea.
