I'm dealing with a check engine light for bank 1 catalyst efficiency. Pretty sure my cat is bad and i know i need to replace it and or the O2 sensors.

I have been using the torgue app now for a bit and been monitoring the diagnostics while they go through their steps checking diff parts of the system. I need to get my smog done asap but would rather order and replace the cat in the next two weeks.

I have been reading around that you can go in for the smog before the test in its entirety finishes. This was on other vehicles.

Does this work on the 2011 models by chance? What stage of the testing would i be able to knock this out if so?

My impression is you should not have CEL and have not cleared the CEL within 60 miles before the test..
