Can i check gearbox fluid with engine off but still warm?
Ok, long story short, a dude open the top drain plug of my 03 R50 , and oil spit to flour, it was like 100-200ml of fluid, it was like overfilled? I guess, my question is. Now my gearbox is low on oil? He puts the plug right after it spit the oil. Please i need help , and thanks for all.
Manual transmission? If so, the top fill plug is where it is so that you can’t overfill. Hat being said, might be a good time for a drain and refill... Make sure the car is level when filling.
Get the redline and this pump its pretty easy especially since you got the top screw off.
Drain what is left in there then replace the lower drain screw, then take the pump put one end in the bottle and the other just slightly into the top fill hole and pump until it starts leaking from the top as if your overfilling. Then replace the screw and done!
You will need two bottles of Redline
