Rear strut replacement tips - NON OEM Strut Alignment Required?

Any tips for doing this? Looks pretty straightforward. I have new Billstein struts and bushings kit.

Anything I should take special note of when re-assembling? I am re-using my springs.

The biggest concern is to make sure that you get the lower bolt started straight, and you don't over tighten it (it can strip). I actually install the lower bolt first on reinstall to make sure that it goes in straight, but that is personal preference. If you're using the stock springs there is no need for an alignment.

FYI, you are doing the tough work to swap out to a larger rear sway bar. Another 15 minutes once the shocks are off is all that it will take for noticeable more nimble handling.

Have fun,
Mike

I would make sure you do the rear upper mount for sure and replace it.

Make sure you have the upper spring perch turned the right direction. There is a small indicator on the rubber mount that should face out, if the spring is not facing correctly it will make a clicking noise that will drive you crazy trying to locate..
