Cooper S Exhaust Tips Replacement / Plastidip Exhaust Tips

Has anyone been able to find aftermarket exhaust tip replacements? I have seen the Akrapovic ones that look amazing, but not affordable. I am just looking to replace the stock beer cans look.

Also, has anyone tried to plastidip the exhaust tips black?

"Two of the most common questions we’ve been hearing have to do with temperature. A lot of folks are wondering about Plasti Dip’s “working temperature” range. Plasti Dip has been tested in temperatures from -30°F all the way up to +200°F. It maintains its flexibility, stretchiness, and other physical characteristics throughout this entire scale. Plasti Dip won’t get brittle or crack in the cold, and it won’t melt or become overly rubbery at high temps."

I would sooner recommend VHT high temp paint over Plasti-Dip.

Their product may be able to stand those temps for a short time, but not prolonged periods. If we're able to get our exhaust tips hot enough to melt the plastic valence around it, Plasti-Dip isn't going to hold up.

A customer of ours dipped a section of their valve cover and in less than a week it was already discolored.

I plastidipped my exhaust tips and it is holding up perfect and looks great. Unlike paint, if it does start to go bad, i can just peal it off and re apply.

Do you have any pics?

Has any one tried Black BBQ spray instead of Plastidip?

Im looking to add the Magnaflow 35121 when I delete my second cat. Anyone know if that will fit or should I go with Magnaflow 35127 (4.5 inches long instead of 7.5 inches)? the specs are perfect just don't know which length to pick since the pipes from the factory muffler are not straight.

you can get jcw tips, they come with the jcw upgrade from the factory and don't look bad at all, I'm sure you can find the tips online somewhere
