Just a heads up for anyone considering this item.

I was going to order one from one of the suppliers with a $25 off coupon but checked the Rennline web site on a whim and discovered they have free shipping in February, so $249 total directly from Rennline but you'd have to act quickly. I'm not affiliated with them in any way besides being a new customer - just wanted to let anyone know who was considering one.

One warning. Once you enter a credit card number and hit NEXT, the order is placed - there is no confirm order page. I had gotten to this point and noticed my billing address was somehow in the USSR rather than the US and when I hit the back button to change it I was kicked back to the home page and had to start over and I ended up with two orders in their system and had to call to have one canceled.

Just placed my order with free shipping from pelican parts.

 

Yes, I did install it back in March of last year and I was glad I had it when we were passing a road crew whacking trees along a two lane road, with the lane they were working in closed, and a good sized chunk of a branch slid out under the mini with no place to go to avoid it. I bought the skid plate for protection from coons and armadillos on the road, and did not anticipate road crews and wood debris.

 

 

We have free shipping running on these right now. I hit my lower mounting points with grease as the salt can really corrode the factory. Making it a little easier on the hardware. This is the next thing to go on my R52 as my factory one was knocked off by some dang ice. I have a Aero kit bumper to put on also as the ice hit the factory Cooper bumper and beat it up on the underside.
