04 R53 Auxiliary cable with Navigation system
I got 04 R53 with navigation system and auxiliary gauges for oil temp & voltage on the bottom of toggle switches. the Previous owner used to have rally lights as well but not now. switch for rally lights are still remaining.
Yesterday I pulled out radio system and tried to connect with aux cable but there was no space for that so I pulled one out and connected with aux cable but when I changed the mode, it doesn't show any aux mode. it only shows radio and cd modes.
Mini with navigation system can't have auxiliary mode? do I have to get aftermarket one? is there any way I can connect with them? Please advise.

With NAV there's already a plug at the back of the radio where the aux wires connect. You should be able to add the aux wires to the NAV connector according to the pin configuration for the radio. The MINI instructions show what to do when this is necessary starting at step 10: https://www.bavauto.com/media/import...ges/INS383.pdf
Depending on the cable, aux might not show up on the radio display unless you have the cable connected to your phone or whatever source you're using. You should be able to select aux with the factory MINI accessory cable without a source being plugged in.

Its works with Nav, just with not work if you have the factory CD changer or something else hooked up to that CD changer slot on the back. Also early 2002 year radios and Cassette decks (very rare). I think its fits on the ultra-rare factory Mini Disc deck (if you have this take a picture as you should be in the MINI hall of fame for rare parts)
