license plate lights not working

Hey guys and gals, both license plate lights on my 2013 hardtop coupe stopped working, the bulbs were good so I checked the voltage on the terminals- no voltage. I ordered and installed a new handle assembly and still no lights. I checked the harness that connects the wires from the door to the handle, there are three wires, I'm assuming one for the electric handle, one for the lights, and a ground. I'm getting 12V from one wire and 0V from the other, so I'm guessing the positive wire to the lights is broken somewhere. I'm guessing that the license plate lights are wired into the tail light circuit so I pulled the right trim cover off to look at the wiring, it looks like the wiring bundle from the hatch comes down the right pillar and then joins a larger bundle going towards the front of the car. My question is, where exactly does the positive license plate wire connect?

Thanks for any help!
Jason
