Suspension issues

Ok, so I think the car hit a curb as the wheel is touching the shock

Where the wheel impacted the shock

When you turn the wheel the screw below and to the right of the circle opening is touching the frame.

Ive never worked on suspension and would like to know where i should be looking so i can know which parts to search for on youtube

Thx

Looking at that strut I would replace it first as it is clearly damaged. After that mount the wheel and see if you have clearance between it an the tire. If you do it was just the strut. If it is still hitting you need too look at the steering knuckle and lower control arm.
The lower control arm is usually pretty easy to see if it is bent. So if it looks good it is likely the knuckle.

You may also consider just doing a set of shocks like the KONI FSDs to improve the ride while doing the repairs.

Take a hard look at the wheel too. If it's bent, here's a link to an outstanding outfit that has a mobile rig to re-true any wheel. I've used them twice with great results.

Does anyone know if the only way to access the control arm bolts to remove from driver side is to lower the subframe?
