R53 MCS fender scuttles?

Do the Mini Cooper "S" fender scuttles all fit loose or is their a trick to tightening them up; just do want to have them fall out on the road ???

I don't consider mine lose, make sure you are seating them correctly. I've had mine off a couple times to paint them and replace lenses.

they should be tight. If they are loose they may not be snapped in all the way. Or the plastic clip they snap in may be broken, or the tab that goes into the clip may be broken so inspect them and find the answer.
