2006 R 50 headlight bulb replacement

I would like to have brighter lights and wondering if anyone has upgraded JUST the bulb.

Phillips make a near halogen ( xenon) ( H7 style)

Has anyone used this ?

Or any other suggestions?

Lens in clear.

Appreciate any and all responses

I have fitted Osram Night Breaker bulbs to both high and low beams, and they show an improvement over stock. However, I'm thinking of changing to this set up.

I would get a projector headlight and use the Morimoto kit.

Helix projectors:

Ok, most people like to do the conversion.

The best thing keeping stock replaces the bulbs, we carry some PIAA H7 bulbs and the Osram silver stars that are great.

you can get silverstars in any decent autopart store ....

I've used 'em for years in most of my vehicles

a warning ... I've seen a couple of folks ruin their headlight housings by swapping to a significantly hotter bulb. There is some internal wiring in the housing and I've seen the insulation completely baked off these wires and then they short out. Nothing you can do besides replace the housing when this happens . . .
