I have a 2012 mini cooper countryman s all wheel drive. The coolant is leaking at the bottom of the expansion tank reservoir. I am trying to find the replacement o-ring but cannot find it in any parts diagram. Any ideas on the exact size of this o-ring or where to purchase?

Here is the part number 11537600674 Its the newer short line, comes with an 0 Ring and the clip. These can get loose and beat up on oil changes when you move it out of the way to change the oil filter. Links to our site in the thread.

I HAVE A 2012 MINI COOPER COUNTRYMAN UPON COMPLETING THE OIL CHANGE SERVICE I NOTICED THE COOLANT BOTTLE WAS NEARLY EMPTY. THERES NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON NO LOSS OF POWER OR VISUAL SIGNS OF COOLANT LEAKING ONTO THE GARAGE, THE OIL CAME OUT NORMAL WHEN DRAINING NO FROTHINESS OR ABNORMAL SMELLS. I KNOW ITS NOTHING MAJOR BUT STILL CONCERNING ANY THOUGHTS ??

 

Check that part in the post above, my guess is when you twisted the hose/ expansion tank out of the way it leaked out.
