Engine rebuild, stuck pulley

I need help please! I have a 2004 Mini Cooper S (R53). My problem is that I’m rebuilding my engine and my pulley is stuck. In order to pull out my cylinder head and timing chain I need it off. Except it’s pretty much stuck and I ordered the specific tool off Mini Coopers official site and it broke. I pulled the motor out and took it to a Mini shop and they couldn’t pull it out also. What can I do?! Has anyone had this problem before? I miss riding my baby.

I believe I've watched a video by Mod Mini showing how to grind off a stuck pulley. Can't find it now. Maybe with a little more searching you'll find it. I know it's out there somewhere. Good luck.

Going to move you to the Stock Problems/Issues section. When you say pulley you are talking the Crank Pulley/Harmonic Damper, correct?

I used a generic type axle puller. What "broke", the puller? Did it use bolts that were tightened into the three holes on the pulley?
