Mini Cooper S trouble vacuum leak? Fuel Pump? (Video inside)

There is a hissing/vacuum and buzzing sound on the rear of my 2010 AT Mini Cooper S. I tried to make a clear video where the sound is coming from.

Can someone help me determine what fix is needed? There are a few symptoms I've been getting like, lower mpg, delay on transmission in low speed, jerk at low speed, etc. I have no clue what is the cause. My guess is the fuel pump is failing, maybe a carbon build up.

Thanks guys

buzzing in the back is your low pressure fuel pump. normal.

get codes even if CEL is not on. as you said, it might be the HPFP. it is a common issue. call the dealer, you might be covered for free.

I just spoke to the service advisor and they said that my extended warranty is covering the HPFP along with a few other things. Mini will diagnose my vehicle on Saturday to see what needs to be replaced.

Thank you for your help.

Good luck tomorrow! When you post the findings, please let us know if there were any other symptoms, the mileage on your car, and any other info. Thx!

I went to mini Manhattan. They will charge $165 to look at the hpfp. Im not even sure if that's the issue of the vehicle so I left to go to an independent shop to get it looked at later today. Hopefully i have time.
