P2803 OBD Code??

Hi all. 2006 R50 is throwing a few codes....P2803 (Manufacturer Defined), P0100 (Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit), P0036 (HO2S Heater Control Circuit).

I know what the last two are, but can't find info about the P2803 (Manufacturer Defined) code.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

The DTC structure would indicate something with the transmission as the second number is an "8". And you are sure it is a P and not a B code?

You have an automatic?

It's definitely a P and not a B. I have the dreaded CVT trans which is acting a little strange as of late; "Jerks" as I pull away from a stop. The "jerk" is really bad when going from reverse to drive. Seems to get a little better as the car warms up.

I purchased the OBD reader last week after the car started misfiring a bit. I think the prob was corrosion on the #3 connection on the coil. I gave it a good cleaning with some steal wool and it runs fine now. Funny thing is, the transmission seem to act up after I had the oil change......not sure if that is related or not.

Are the OBD codes make and model specific? In other words, would a P0036 mean something different on a Jeep or BMW?

Thanks.

The 0036 is an O2 sensor on the exhaust header from everything I have.

The " jerking" motion could be a software corruption caused by low voltage during cranking.
Most times a NEW battery will resolve.Along with software and readapting.
coastmotorwerk.com in California has more info.

Good Luck
