Currently have a mini cooper 2008 base model, but have some few issues.

1) Remote Control --- Few weeks back, i notice that when it rain, the water comes inside the car from the sun roof part, this because the pipe that connect water from the roof, which then goes to the back door, was not connected, so got someone to connect the rubber, but since the connection was done, the car key remote as not been working to Open or Close the doors, was thinking is the battery, but the other key is also not working. So can someone kindly help me or offer suggestion on how this can be fix?

2) Jacking On Speed -- When driving the car, and on normal or high speed, the car normally jack for some few sec, then start to work normally, and some times, when am on very slow movement in a heavy traffic, it will start to jack allot, and then the car will stop to work, and will have to re-start it again, this does happan always, ones a while, but the few sec jacking on speed, happen, always.

Kindly offer your suggestion or solution to fix the issues please?

1) someone suggested the rear view mirror area has the remote sensor. water might have gotten there!
2) I assume the car is Automatic? the transmission is fine, right? do you get CELs? scan and let us know what you get.
