Fan Question

Im sure this question has been asked before but I cant seem to find my issue. I have a family of R56's and I recently purchased a JCW R55. After driving the R56 hard for a while the fan stays on after I shut the car off. But, with the R55 it does not do this. Im wondering if this the JCW has a better cooling capacity that it does not need to do this or if I need to replace the fan or other components. Thanks in advance.

Cooling

My wrench told me that The R56 S has a secondary coolant pump on top of motor that cools the turbo when the car has been turned off. Sometimes my fan kicks in and sometimes it doesn't when driveway parked. I have been told this is all normal operation for the turbo models.
Are you running hot, or everything is ok when the car is driving. Bavauto has some articles about Mini's coolant system and common issues. Maybe that would be a
helpful read.
Good luck!

I don't believe that I am running hot. But, it never kicks in for the week that i've had it. Its also summer weather and my other ones seem to be kicking in after a heavy foot of driving. It seems that fan only runs on low speed.
