Greetings-

Have an 09 Justa Clubman automatic that is using >1 quart of engine oil in 1K miles. Haven't had a chance yet to get underneath and really look around; however the top of the engine looks fine (no leaks visible around valve cover or vacuum pump), and there are no leaks visible on the garage floor. No CELs or codes present. I did notice once or twice a visible puff of smoke when in stop and go traffic on a descent (nose of car lower than rear on a decent incline) that seemed to come up from under the front bumper, very near the centerline of the car. I know it's not a lot of info to go on, but is the most likely suspect the oil filter housing/gasket?
