06 MCS dirt inside headlight casing - can it be cleaned?

Hi. I've searched and searched and can't find any info about this. Before I bought my car, the passenger headlight was cracked and was sealed with some clear glue-type substance. It works fine and looks pretty good. The concern is that there is quite a bit of dirt inside by the lenses. Could be they didn't clean it out before it was sealed. Anyway, it really bothers me and I'm wondering if I can clean the inside, or will I have to buy a whole new headlight?
Thanks for your thoughts!

I am thinking that at least one of the bulbs has a turn and twist type socket that can be removed. You would then have to have a skinny round tube to put on the end of vacuum hose or to put a damp rag on so that you could rub the back side of the lens.

I'm going to assume you have standard halogen headlights ....

short answer is that the item is sold as one piece ... a sealed unit.

Folks HAVE successfully used heat to sep' the clear from the back ... usually to paint the inside black .... then glued things back together. Search JOEY MOD

You can buy a set of aftermarkets for less than one EO light ..... if they r as good is up to you to decide.

of you have X's ... cost goes UP
