steering vibration

'06 R53 with fairly new tires (not change with new ones), but i'm getting steering vibe around 55-65mph. Had them re-balanced. Wondering if it's a wheel bearing, control arm bushing or rack issue? Any experience in this matter? No vibe on braking. Maybe a little more noticeable on accel, but mostly speed dependent.

I can give you a few things to check, but it would be best to just go to a Indie Shop and have the front end checked. When I first got my car, I took it to an Indie Shop for an oil change and he came back with a list of things I needed done.. You can change a whole bunch of parts based on what you get here, or you can just go to a shop and have your front end checked and fix what's needed.

These are hard to diagnose in person, let alone over the internet. There was another guy here a week or 2 ago that had a similar issue, bunch of suggestions, and I'm not sure if he's any farther along.

How did they balance the tires, high speed rotation method of the old way of setting the tire on a pivot point level and putting the weights on so the bubble is dead center?

There's also road force balancing.

CSP has the correct term for what I was trying to explain. The tire is rotated by a roller that not only speeds the tire up but also puts force on it similar to what the road does.
