Engine Swap

I did an engine swap due to a bad rod. The computer worked fine prior to swap and now is popping the DME is faulted and I am sure it is causing many of the other codes. I had a bad injector fixed that. It is surging and it sounds like a blow off valve is popping. Any ideas on any type of reset due to engine swap? The DME shouldn't have gone bad being disconnected.

What year car you have? The R52 in S trim is a supercharged engine that is not goign to have a blow/pop-off valve that turbo has.

OK, what codes you getting? You are sure all your electrical plugs and grounds are connected/tight? Hose clamps at throttle body and BPV are tight?

Yes ground is back on and plugs are tight my water temp plug would be only but that isn't an issue I will have to get on my schwaben scanner and look at what codes are pulling. The scanner is new to me so I haven't played with it to much.

Codes are 4 digits/letters, P1109 is the MAP sensor ( signal too high under decel) and is usually due to either a stuck throttle valve or an air leak. P1242 is MAP sensor # 2 same too high under deceleration and same cause.
