Turbo Oil Line?

I know this is an issue posted here, but I have a not so common, but possibly common sense question...

The return line on my '07 MCS has been steadily leaking more. The feed line is not. While I'm in there, is it safe to assume that I should go ahead and replace the feed as well, or is it's source accessible without the same tear down? The current feed does have the snap on heat shield, but Cooper is about to hit 100k.

Thoughts?

As long as you're in there - do them both. Check out the kit from Detroit Tuned, the turbo oil lines are a known weak spot.

+1 on the detroit tuned super kit. Includes turbo oil line, return line, oil filter housing gasket (I think the oil cooler gasket is separate but also recommended since it sits on top of the oil filter housing).

You should replace both feed and return lines, the tear down would be identical. The return line sits directly underneath the turbo so you'll have to take out the turbo heatshields and downpipe to access the return line. With one or two extra steps you can access the turbo oil line as well as oil filter housing (common point of oil/coolant leaks) so you might as well replace those as well.

Always do the turbo lines as a pair it's too much work to do just one. We offer our own stainless oil line kit

Thanks everyone! Will be ordering the Detroit Tuned kit in a few. And while I'm in there, has anyone just drilled out their cat? Kinda curious about that versus spending money I don't have on a new down pipe.
