Headlights

I have a 2010 mini cooper S. The headlights are the Bi-xenon ones. When I start the car they are fine and are bright. However, after some driving around they lose their brightness and I struggle to see the road. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Need new HID bulbs? The HID capsules lose brightness as they age, and it’s possible yours need to be replaced with new ones. OR, but very unlikely, the ballasts are on their way out and dropping voltage to the bulbs as they heat up.

I would bet new bulbs would be needed if those are the original ones from new.

Check the bulbs, if they get pinkish or dull in color change them in sets. Over time then can get less blue/white and go more pinkish.

D1S bulb is what you need
