Acceleration issue

So, I have a 2013 Clubman base with an automatic transmission, had it for 2 years now. It's always had a problem with off idle throttle response being weak, and especially on hot days (I live in Phoenix, so the days get VERY hot) with the AC on. At times the engine even wants to stall it's that bad. I talked to the dealer and they said it "normal", but to me it just doesn't seem right.

Has anyone else had this issue and what were your remedies? Would the Remus Responder or similar device make a difference?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem with my 2011 Justa Clubman. At one time there was a kit/system that you plug into the car that bypassed the electrical link/signal to the fuel system, that gave you quicker engine /power response. It was advertised to give you power quicker when you press the gas pedal.

There are several now that advertise that. One is the Remus system I mentioned and Sprint is another brand. I was wondering if those actually settle the issue though.

Sprintbooster might help that. It increases the throttle position over stock. They have a new version V3 now. Does both manual and automatics.

have you had the updated ignition coils installed. The old ones had acceleration misfire issues and would not always throw a code. But i will say n12 and n16s have crappy accel
