My 2003/R53 passenger side door power lock no longer works. It can still be locked manually and opened with the inside handle. Before I go tearing out the door panel and looking for problems with the actuator, I wondered whether anyone could share whether there is a relay or fuse that I could check first?... or if anyone has had a similar experience that might be helpful.

 

Going to move this to the Problems/Issues folder. If you have not already done so have you checked out the folder? It appears there are over 100 threads that contain "electric door lock."

 

This exact issue happen to me. 2006 R50

Had to replace the handle. took mini a little over an hour.
